In a world with so many distractions, Christ should always be our focal point.

As humans, we can’t handle things on our own. Too often, we try to handle situations before going to God. That is not how God wants us to live. God invites us into a relationship with Him. Go to God first in prayer. Day or night, He is available.

Discipleship involves receiving and internalizing the teachings of Jesus. This means not only reading the Bible but also seeking to understand it and applying it to our lives. Discipleship is not just about knowledge, but about action. Jesus calls His followers to live out His commandments, embodying love, humility, mercy, and forgiveness in their relationships with others.

God bless our Veterans and Country

As men we are responsible to take initiatives to form and carry out that moral vision of our family. Just as we follow Christ, our family will follow us.

We need to be like the rich young ruler in the sense that we desire to grow and improve our service to God. However, unlike the rich young ruler, we must also be willing to do the work that is necessary to improve or fix what is lacking in our lives.

When you fight every little disagreement in your path, you may appear to win in every conflict. But you will eventually exhaust yourself, become a combative and bitter person, and have no time for the things that matter.

Let’s stand together in prayer for our leaders and nation, seeking God’s guidance and truth. Join us in lifting up petitions and intercession, trusting that our faithful prayers can bring peace, godliness, and a return to God’s heart for our country.
