Discipleship involves receiving and internalizing the teachings of Jesus. This means not only reading the Bible but also seeking to understand it and applying it to our lives. Discipleship is not just about knowledge, but about action. Jesus calls His followers to live out His commandments, embodying love, humility, mercy, and forgiveness in their relationships with others.
As men we are responsible to take initiatives to form and carry out that moral vision of our family. Just as we follow Christ, our family will follow us.
